New hair: My first Yarn braids

Hi everyone! I tried yarn braids for the first time. It is made using wool/yarn. The differences i have noticed so far between this and the usual synthetic hair used for braids is (1) it is not shiny (2) It can get really big and bulky especially when i am trying to put it in a ponytail.
I used brown colored yarn for most part and mixed it with black.
It is only shoulder length because the person that braided my hair didn't listen to my request but i am liking this short length. 

Mane 'n Tail-Braid Sheen Spray....I saw this at the mall so i bought it to try and see if it will make my braids more manageable since i plan on keeping them for a long time.

Questions

Have you tried yarn braids or twists? 

Any tips i should know about when it comes to managing it?

How do i treat/get rid of dandruff? Anti-dandruff shampoo isn't working for me :-(

Hi everyone! Long time no post.. A lot has been happening, i moved to another city for school so i have been really busy. New place, new school, new people...whew! I hope everyone is well? I will try my best to post more often. The thing is sometimes i actually start writing and have ideas of what to post but i just never publish them. I will try to do better from now on. Nikkisho Makeovers featuring Yomi

Lol at the title, no guys I am not a makeup artist. I went to my friend's house to visit them a.k.a eat their food....haha. When I finished eating Yomi said I should do her makeup and since we were all bored i agreed. I also styled her hair in a low side bun. Sorry the flash is too much, I took the pictures with a phone because I didn't take my camera.
All that hours spent on youtube watching makeup videos isn't a waste after all or what do you think?

DIY Crop Top and how i wore it

Last weekend I was at the mall and I walked into a store because I was drawn by the simple tee that was on the mannequin so I bought it. When i got home later and tried it on, it didn't look anything like it did on the mannequin...lol. (Lesson: Always try on clothes before buying). I didn't like the fit at all so I decided it will be one of my "wear inside the house only" clothes.
The next day while I was going through my blogger dashboard like i always do and i came across a post by apairandasparediy so i decided to bring out my scissors and try something new. I have been following a few DIY blogs for quite some time now but this is my first trial. Crop tops are now in and I have seen some on Topshop so you can always buy a ready-made one

Since i have no abs to show off  (rice and garri won't let me). I paired it with a skirt.
